What is an Applicant Tracking System and how does it work in corporate world?
Companies use different systems for automatically tracking job applications. These are known as their ATS. Well-known ATS brands include Greenhouse, ICIMS, Workday, Smart Recruiters. Each has a different process and function when it comes to helping recruiters do their jobs.
Let's use Amazon as an example. They are a global company that receives millions of resumes from all around the world. Amazon recruiters use the Boolean search with specific keywords to pull the most qualified resumes from their ATS.
